Sustainable and well-established farming practices
Oakdale Farm spans 150 hectares and features a purpose-built single barn and rotary milking shed, designed for efficient herd management and streamlined daily operations.
Our primary goat breed is Saanen, known for their high milk production. We also have Toggenburg and British Alpine goats in our herd.
Oakdale Farm’s vision is to be the leading goat farming business in New Zealand nourishing babies all around the world with the highest quality goat milk.

A rotary milking shed allows for faster, low-stress milking with improved efficiency and animal flow. It’s ideal for large herds, reducing labour and supporting goat wellbeing.
At Oakdale Farm, our goats are fed daily on fresh-cut, high-quality pasture grown on the farm, including perennial ryegrass, white and red clover, and herbs like chicory. During milking, they receive whole maize in the parlor, providing a high-energy, cost-effective source of starch and fat to support winter condition, energy, and milk production.
Milked twice daily, our herd is managed for consistency, health, and high-quality milk production.

Our youngest does are raised with care, ensuring a healthy start and a strong future milking herd.
